Bought this tent at the end of summer for a trip to Wales so it was important that the tent was waterproof and wind proof. It took us no more than 15 minutes to get the tent up and secure, and a further 5 minutes or so to peg in the guy lines. We found it quite spacious, although in common with most other reviewers we were pleased that there were only 3 of us, because a fourth person would not have fitted. The overall quality and ease of putting up was impressive. The poles are all colour coded and the instructions are easy to understand. It even comes with a repair kit for the more heavy handed camper.
In short an excellent tent for the money and I would recomend it to anyone

I bought two of these for teenagers to use at festivals and we have all been very satisfied (2 festivals down). Easy to erect and very weatherproof. Only criticisms I’ve heard are that (1)there could have been more tent pegs, so be prepared – my daughter had to beg and borrow from friends to anchor her tent in a glorious summer gale. (2) Much struggling reported in getting tents back into their bags but then I always find this difficult whatever the tent. Very reasonable price for the quality of the product. Highly recommended.

This tent is a very good and sturdy tent. It held up very well to heavy rain at both Glastonbury and 2000 Trees festival without a hint of wetness. Good that it has two porch doors on it and lots of space for 2 people but I would think it might be a little cramped with 4 people.
The only issue we had with this tent was as soon as we got it out of the bag at Glastonbury we noticed there were 3-4 tiny holes in the roof of the porch which looked like a zip had caught it. But it came with a good repair kit and there were no leaks once it was repaired.
We also bought the Gelert double flocked airbed to go with this tent. It did fit but the ends of the bed were quite near to the ends of the tent sleeping area.
Overall it was a really good tent but needing to do the repair job on a brand new tent right out of the bag stopped it being a 5. I would recommend it though.

great 3-4 man tent for 1-2 days camping, however it would be more suitable for 2-3 people for longer camping periods, withstands rain very well and great storage space with its own groundsheet for keeping your equipment dry.

Received this and took it on its maiden expedition last week. Was easy to put up although I made sure we pulled the outer really taut before attaching the sleeping compartment. 2 of us slept on single airbeds and I wouldnt like to try sleeping with more than 3 in this 4 man tent.It rained on the 2nd morning and the porch area worked well, all our kit stayed dry.
All in all we are very happy with it and confident in wet, windy weather.Great value.Gelert Tornado 4 Tent
