Moroccan Caidale Bedouin Tent (Arabian, Wedding, Indian)
History.
These particular tents are better known as Caidale or Makhzen tents traditionally belonged to the Palaces and were erected to welcome Kings and Sultans as they travelled throughout the land. Although these come in a multitude of designs, the main interior and exterior detail have been preserved with the three main colours portraying authority (red), spirituality (Islamic green), and wealth and beauty (gold), when these are combined they reflect Arabian splendour.
These tents today, even though they are still used by the palace, they are also used for wedding ceremonies, national festivities, as well as religious celebrations and parties.
Construction.
The marquees are made from heavy grade canvas. They are triple layered and weatherproof although in extreme weather conditions they should really not be used ie. torrential rain and gale force winds!.
Exterior :- Heavy grade canvas, 100% white cotton , very thick (400g/m2). Beautiful black royal ornaments and lines on the outside are not printed but hand sewn with black cotton on the white fabric.
Middle Layer :- waterproof invisible plastic layer.
Inside Layer :- stunning decorative royal colours.
